Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns is one of my fave tunes of all time.

On a somewhat related note, Temple of the Dog should be in everbody's collection.

food for thought. QR's Metal Health reached #1 on the album charts. Something Def Leppard's Pyromania never did. But then again, Pyromania outsold Metal Health by quite a bit and was contending against the #1 selling album of all time.. Michael Jackson's Thriller.

Randy Rhoads was the major musical influence in my guitar life. In fact, he was probably THE primary influence for 10-12 years. To be honest, I haven't really...

Don't forget the amp. Marshalls, Fenders, Vox, etc... all different. Then throw in solid state, digital, etc. and the choices get harder and the wallet a lot thinner. :)

KISS was Knight's in Satan's Service, AC/DC was Anti-Christ/Devil's Children, and one look at the cov...

You can learn a lot learning RR's stuff. Learning the tunes off of Blizzard and Diary were the best guitar lessons there were for me. That guy runs the full gamut of styles, licks, and scales. Unfortunately, since the grunge days, anything remotely virtuoso is a pariah. I think the world is ripe for...

I was backstage back in '86 for the Ultimate Sin tour. I was stuck in some litttle room waiting for my connection to come up with a backstage pass or a ticket during the long Metallica set. They played for over an hour. While I was waiting, the security was debating whether to tell the cops about al...
