The rack? The Church of Randy Rhoads would bother. They would go straight to the point and shatter your fingers to silence you. The Templars would make good work of your hands and wrists. The pear would then be smashed into said heretics mouth to silence them. Yes the church will suppress any truth...

Dan, do you know for a fact that this film is on the Directors dime? In reality, given the fact that the Director has known the Rhoads' family for many years, and knowing Delores's age and excitement about this project, I find it hard to believe that he had not given them a timetable for completion...

Every musician should be familiar with James Jamerson. His sense of groove and melody are astonishing. Very cool he's from your home state. Check out the movie "Standing In The Shadows of Motown" sometime. I bought it on VHS at The Dollar Tree a couple of years back not even knowing what i...

I have to play devil's advocate and say that this is being done on the director's dime and he has to make an income like you and I in the meantime. If the Lord of The Rings folks had to work a full-time job on top of shooting, directing and editing that film I have to imagine it would have taken a d...

I grew up in the segregated South but the J5 defied all kinds of barriers. They were just so cool - I didn't know black or white or whatever. Get songs, great singing and Michael was such an awesome kid. That's what I remember and always will. Off The Wall and Thriller came out when I was a teenager...

James Jamerson - the Motown Funk Brother bassist. That is him on nearly all Motown from the mid 60's on. Listen to the Jackson 5 "Darling Dear" - it will bring tears to your eyes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ND-iW51idC0 A white brother attempting it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuDjV...

My view of God has always been more of the Old Testament God rather than the New Testament God; you know, a bit scary, all powerful, and after all that, loving. I was afraid you were going to say "cause he's God." Always a good explanation seeing as God, being God, can do whatever h...

My view is the trailer or whatever it was will get Randy exposure and get people excited about the upcoming documentary. So yea it may have been a shady move but in the end I think Peter will benefit from this as will Randy's estate. Bingo. Unfortunate that this was leaked before all the legalities...

Musonia = "Place of Music". Just a guess. We have a town named Gastonia nearby. Gaston was some french guy and "onia" as far as I can tell means a place, town, etc. Brilliant name for a place of music. :D Edit: the "Mus" part may be for "Muse": Noun the muse a...

I always wonder how if God is supposed to be "all knowing" how can he possibly be "all loving"? Seems counter-productive. Nic I think He is both because He is God. I think of Him as a loving father first and foremost. He knows what's best for you but He has given us freewill - w...

Does God give us the right to choose? What about the pre-destination argument? Just thought I'd throw that in the pot! Oh man. We just lost our worship team leader over this issue and I REALLY struggle with it. Actually I don't struggle. I don't believe in pre-destination simply because I can't fat...

Sorry to correct you Nic. This is the "shopping for a mini van, watching American Idol while playing UNO, enjoying some tasty pizza rolls" site.

I can understand that , and I think ones beliefs be whatever they are , are very personal things no ? , I find it offensive that fundamentalist christian groups attempt to tell us that ' their beliefs ' are the right way ? for all intents and purposes "my god " could be my Gibson Explorer...
