There's this thread with a reproduction of a photograph presumably taken by Don. It's grainy but gives a picture of what happened. I had the chills when I realized what it was.

Agree with cableguyxx with my own take. A fee is a fee. In this case, it's a forced donation. I'm sure it's a good cause but there are many good causes these days. Many of those good causes are in fact individuals just trying to get by in this very rough economy. I'm also aware of a similar instance...

I attended the first concert of the tour in San Francisco at the Cow Palace (described in Rudy's book). There was not catapult hurling meat but I remember the hand coming out at the encore and malfunctioning. The stairs to the drum riser raised up and the hand was sitting under there but it didn't m...
